SASC Advances Chief of Naval Operations Nomination

The Senate Armed Services Committee today voted by voice to favorably report the nomination of Vice Admiral Michael M. Gilday, to be admiral and Chief of Naval Operations. The nomination was immediately reported to the floor following the Committee's action.
