SASC Advances Civilian, Military Nominations

The Senate Armed Services Committee today voted by voice to favorably report the nominations of James E. McPherson to be Under Secretary of the Army and Charles A. Williams to be Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Energy, Installations, and Environment, as well as 871 pending military nominations in the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps.

All nominations were immediately reported to the Senate floor following the Committee’s action.
