SASC Advances Gen. CQ Brown, Gen. Randy George, 2,697 Additional Military Nominations

Today, the Senate Armed Services Committee voted by voice en bloc to report out favorably a list of 2,699 military nominations in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Space Force.

This list includes 19 general officer and flag officer promotions, including:

-General Charles Q. Brown, Jr., USAF to be Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff
-General Randy A. George, USA to be Chief of Staff of the Army

All nominations were immediately reported to the Floor following the Committee’s action.
