SASC Advances Nominations of Keohane and Guertin, 3,086 Additional Military Promotions

On Tuesday, March 28, the Senate Armed Services Committee voted by voice en bloc to report out favorably a list of 27 military nominations in the Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps.

The Committee also voted to report out favorably the following civilian nominations:

-Mr. Ronald T. Keohane to be Assistant Secretary of Defense for Manpower and Reserve Affairs; and
-Honorable Nickolas H. Guertin to be Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition

On Thursday, March 23, the Committee voted by voice en bloc to report out favorably a list of 3,059 military nominations in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Space Force.

The nominations were immediately reported to the floor following the Committee’s action.
