SASC Advances Nominations of Lieutenant General Kurilla, 780 Additional Military Promotions

The Senate Armed Services Committee today voted to favorably report out a list of 780 pending military promotions in the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps, as well as the nomination of:

-Lieutenant General Michael E. Kurilla, USA for promotion to General and to be Commander, United States Central Command.

The nominations were immediately reported to the floor following the Committee’s action.
