SASC Advances Nominations of Plumb and Taylor-Kale, Approves Committee Rules and Funding Resolution

Today, the Senate Armed Services Committee voted by voice en bloc to report out favorably the rules governing the procedures of the Committee in the 118th Congress, as well as the resolution authorizing expenditures by the Committee in the 118th Congress.

The Committee also voted by roll call to favorably report out the following civilian nominations:

- Dr. Radha I. Plumb to be Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment
- Dr. Laura Taylor-Kale to be Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy

The nominations were immediately reported to the floor following the Committee’s action.
