SASC Advances Nominations of Storch, Martinez-Lopez, Lowman, Beshar, Parker, Schaefer, and Calvelli

The Senate Armed Services Committee today voted to favorably report out the following civilian nominations: 

-Honorable Robert P. Storch to be Inspector General of the Department of Defense
-Dr. Lester Martinez-Lopez to be Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs
-Mr. Christopher J. Lowman to be Assistant Secretary of Defense for Sustainment
-Mr. Peter J. Beshar to be General Counsel of the Department of the Air Force
-Honorable Franklin R. Parker to be Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Manpower and Reserve Affairs
-Dr. Agnes G. Schaefer to be Assistant Secretary of the Army for Manpower and Reserve Affairs
-Mr. Frank Calvelli to be Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Space Acquisition 

The nominations were immediately reported to the floor following the Committee’s action.
