SASC Approves Civilian Nominations

Washington, D.C. – The Senate Armed Services Committee today voted by voice vote to favorably report the following civilian nominations en bloc:

• Mr. Robert F. Behler to be Director of Operational Test and Evaluation;
• Mr. Thomas B. Modly to be Under Secretary of the Navy; and
• Mr. James F. Geurts to be Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development, and Acquisition.

All nominations were immediately reported to the Senate floor following the Committee’s action.
